Alligator Garfish Scales Necklace in gold
Pulled from the bayous and backwaters of Louisiana, these necklaces feature real alligator garfish scales—cleaned, preserved, and transformed into pieces of wild-worn armor. Ancient, sharp-edged, and shining like bone and pearl, gar scales were once used by Native people as arrowheads and breastplates. Now, they hang close to the heart as a badge of strength and swamp-born pride.
Each scale is naturally tough, shaped by river current and time—not a thing added that nature didn’t already get right. Every piece speaks to the ones who walk the in-between—part land, part water, part myth.
