Cicada Bolo Tie

This cicada was once buzzing through the Louisiana heat—now he's steadfast by your heart.

Salvaged from a spent cicadas found in Lafayette , Louisiana, this piece is part resurrection, part reverence. This cicada came to me with malformed wings on one side and missing wings on the other. I reconstructed him so he could fly in eternity.

Light as air, tough as truth, and made from what most folks would pass by without a second look. That’s the heart of it—finding beauty in the busted.

Wear ’em as a reminder that even the messiest moments can shine when seen right.
Wings may’ve hit the pavement, but they still know how to fly.
